Lot #29: Battlestar Galactica Cavil Double Costume

Description

This is an outfit worn by a background performer who doubles for Cavil in background scenes when multiple copies of his model are needed for a scene. Typically worn from Season 3 and onward, it mirrors the hero costumes worn by actor Dean Stockwell in the role of Number One a.k.a. Cavil. A two piece outfit consisting of shirt and pant.

The shirt is a black button-up long-sleeve piece with self-stripe detail and black buttons. The outfit tag has since been removed by Battlestar Galactica’s Costume Department, with “CAVIL DBL” written on the back inside collar in silver permanent marker.

The pant is a black pleated front dress pant from Donna Karan New York with manufacturer’s tags still attached. Pant is size 34.

Piece includes genuine leather black belt with metal buckle. The manufacturer’s tag have been removed.
