Description

This speaker lectern, also known as a podium stand, is made of hardboard and painted in metallic blue gray with silver weathering highlights. Features a large Colonial seal on the front of the podium and a burgundy imitation leather pleated skirt at the rear. Angled top reading surface features a document ledge along with a solid mount Shure gooseneck microphone. Measures 36″ × 49½″ × 28½″.

Notes

The Galactica speaker lectern is an impressive piece when addressing the crew of the Galactica. Multiple compound angles and metallic blue gray color along with large Colonial seal provide its stately appearance. Prominently used by Adama in the Miniseries and used for other Colonial events throughout the series.
