Description

Panel consists of a fiberboard frame painted battlestar gray, color weapons status display insert has been mounted on top of plexiglass. Four screw holes, one at each corner, where panel attached to weapons console. Measures 8½″ × 9¾″.

Notes

Translight panel from the weapons area of Galactica’s Combat Information Center. CIC functioned as the battlestar’s nerve center and allowed command personnel to monitor remote-sensing equipment, ship’s status displays, and weapons release consoles, among other functions. Although not prominently featured, this panel appeared in the background of CIC throughout the series.
