Lot #599: BSG Screen Used Col Rank & Elite Wings

Description

Two gold dart-shaped collar pins with 12-point star and silver border overlaid with Colonial phoenix symbol and backed by one lower gold chevron to denote the rank of Colonel. Collar insignia contain a screw-type backing with a small pin at top of each to hold it in place. Each pin measures 1¼″ × ½″. Elite Pilot Wings measure approximately 1½″ and are made of metal with gold and silver electroplate finish.

Notes

Set of Colonel rank insignia worn on the collar of duty blues, BDUs, or dress grays. This insignia indicates the wearer has attained the rank of Colonel in the Colonial Fleet. Senior staff with flight status wear Elite Pilot Wings with the long, outstretched wings. These screen-used pins were worn by background performers during the run of Battlestar Galactica.
