Description

Production-made model made of fiberglass painted light green with hand painted insignias and details on both sides. There are also numerous windows painted on the surface. A repair is present just behind the bridge section where it attaches to the neck but is otherwise in excellent condition considering its age. Measures 20" x 28" x 7" tall.

Notes

Klingon D-7 Special Effects model created during the production of Star Trek: The Motion Picture. This unused ship was cast directly from the D-7 filming effects model used in "The Original Series" by Greg Jein for use in the first feature film. It was decided after its creation that another Klingon ship would have to be made from scratch due to the high level of detail that was needed. From the collection of Doug Drexler.
