Description

Production-made metal, wood, fur, and leather hatchet. Metal blade is dull and is rusty with gold flecks of paint; wood handle shows signs of wear and has faint brown, yellow, orange, and white paint stripes; fur is glued to the handle; a leather lace is tied around the handle near the top; a piece of metal tie wire is wrapped around the handle near the blade probably used to hang the hatchet on set. Measures approx. 19.5in × 1in × 8in.

Notes

A metal hatchet, used as set decoration for Stargate SG-1. Daniel collected numerous artifacts from Earth as well as other worlds during his travels.
