Production-acquired plastic glasses. Lenses are plastic and have a blue-green tint. Comes with strap and metal carrying case. By LaserVision of Germany. Lenses measure 2in × 1.5in, strap measures 12in × 0.375in, case measures 4.75in × 7.5in × 3.125in.

Notes

Protective goggles used by actor David Hewlett as Rodney McKay in the Stargate Atlantis Season Two premiere, “The Siege, Part 3.” McKay places these amusing glasses over his eyes when the Daedalus executes “Detonation Flash,” releasing a nuclear warhead directly above Atlantis to make it appear to the Wraith in orbit that though the city has been destroyed.
