Description

Production-made aluminum staircase kickplate. The kickplate consists three layers; the first layer is dark blue diffusing gel, the second is semi-opaque acrylic and the third layer is aluminum with Ancient writing cut out along length. Measures 0.5in × 41.5in × 6in.

Notes

Section of the staircase from the Atlantis gate room, used throughout the production of Stargate Atlantis. The grand staircase translated into a poem in Ancient, describing “a hearty welcome” to other worlds.
