Lot #5: BSG Props Set of Galactica and Pegasus Patches (version 1)

Description

Both patches are production made. The first version of the Galactica patch has a light gold (almost silver/white) background with black stitching. Item has distressed look to it and measures 3″ round. The first version of the Pegasus patch has a dark gold background with the Colonial Phoenix symbol embroidered on it. Patch is a gold matte-type fabric and measures 3½″ in diameter.

Notes

The first patch is the gold patch designed for the battlestar Pegasus crew uniforms. Two styles of this patch were made during the show’s run. The first was the same color as the standard Galactica patches (V3), but it was decided a different look was needed to differentiate the two crews, so the colors were changed to blue and silver. Also included is the first patch used on battlestar Galactica crew uniforms. Four styles of this patch were made during the show’s run. This is the first version, similar to the second, but on a lighter fabric.
